Bellevue Thunderbird Little League has always placed player and family experience at the top of its list of priorities.

Over the last few years, BTLL has strived to improve the experience for our players and families. This improvement can take place in many ways, including enhancing our fields and facilities, upgrading equipment, enhancing our umpire program, increasing the number of children we serve and adding specialized clinics for our players, managers, coaches and umpires.

In 2012, we introduced a free winter training program that was very successful in its first year. We saw over 650 boys and girls come through training over the 6 week program, and approaching 900 kids per year the following two years. We continue to support the Newport High School baseball and softball programs with donations, and NHS in turn provides clinics that support our organization with the assistance and encouragement of the high school staff and players

All of this, of course, requires funding. To this end, we encourage you to designate Bellevue Thunderbird Little League as a recipient of your giving this year. In addition, many local employers (Microsoft, Boeing, and many many others) will match donations to the receiving organization. Every dollar that you give (including company matching contributions) will go directly toward making your children's experience in BTLL all that it should be: fun, instructive and safe. Please give generously. Thank you!

If you're a full time Microsoft employee, Microsoft will match time that you volunteer in the community to eligible organizations at $17 for each hour of volunteer work. For more information, Microsoft employees should click on the Microsoft intranet, Giving Campaign website, "Time Matching Program". For more information on the Microsoft program please see our volunteers page.

Please note that the Boeing Company, T-Mobile, Intel and others also match employee volunteer time!
